insurance claim around time of dad’s death
my version is this:
- pulling out of junction uphill tiny connecting road, bath road and wells road at 3 lamps junction
- moving very slowly as road only long enough for a few cars and most taken up by a pedestrian crossing
- i was holding the clutch at biting point in order to edge forwards without using the handbrake
- i was nudging the car forwards very slowly on an uphill slope
- the other driver appeared to have ample time to pull out and then hesitated and stopped unexpectedly
- as a result my foot came off the clutch and i was not quick enough to return it before making contact with the vehicle
- both drivers got out and inspected the vehicles at the scene and agreed no visible damage to either vehicle and that no issue
