- mechanics of the transaction didnt incentivise their support
- and therefore they allocated very little resource to supporting the migratioin
(big contrast to say my experience on the Aviva Heritage Migration) - large number of historic allocation rate and commission deals

- i wanted to know the ins and outs knowing that when deal done no recourse to ask questions
- when with them only had to answer questions as they arose… we had to anticipate all possible future questions.
- this is advised business… and therefore lots of tricky questions… if not able to explain how a deal had been arrived at could be costly.
- multiple attempts to get information required to design solution for target system
- and becuase under serious time pressure… a lot of areas dependent on my work
- made explicit assumptions at start of solution design
- concurrently took concern to committee and had conern added to risk register
- enabled me to progress, without blocker and full visibility should my design need to be re-worked
- by adding to risk register.. seen by independent expert.. and to a small extent weigh in on court decision if not dealt with.
result
- left able to answer queries that come up post migration
