my research on the credibility of each speaker shows that none of them seem to have perservered with the art of memory webiste….

There seem to be a lot of negativity toward this system, and I wanted to share my thoughts.
OMG they don’t use the method of loci
supporting image and base image are terms to use interchangeably
creating base image can be a positively viewed as a creative challenge
the fact base images created on the fly is one of its strengths
running out of loci is perceived problem for some
is the use of base images replacing loci the next big advancement in memory techniques

some don;t want to be constrained not to let images interact
could be seen as extra steps to loci method since have to find object, break it down, then find 5 objects, break those down
pms limits you to these rules

zooming in and attaching seems like good skill
perhaps use concentric nature of hooks on objects to give kind of mind map like structure

feels that base image should be relevant to what remembering - im undecided on this

some don’t like staking images on top of each other of lining them up withou action or emotion (i wonder what mattias says on this)
